She is a published author, therapist, consultant, business owner and speaker. For over twelve years, she has been practicing as a licensed therapist specializing in working with black folks, the LGTBQ+ community, addiction and couples/relationships. She is the owner of The Mahogany Projek, LLC, a group counseling and consulting practice, and is known as The Barefoot Therapist. She owns and operates an online self-help school, focusing on self-discovery, self-exploration and productive life skills. Sharde’ holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Sharde’ is reputable for being compassionate, connecting with her clients and building rapport, and skillfully providing insight on behavior patterns.
